Bryan Moore Attends SUNY Delhi Trip to Italy

Bryan Moore of Mount Kisco, NY was one of 13 SUNY Delhi architecture students who spent 17 days in Italy in January to take a three-credit course, Architecture 371, "Architectural Theory: History & Architecture of the Italian Renaissance.

Students traveled from Florence to Rome to Vicenza, and back again. They visited the tombs of Michelangelo and Galileo, the Pantheon, the Coliseum, the Arch of Constantine and many other significant architectural and historical destinations.

Moore is pursuing a a bachelor's degree in Architectural Design and Building at SUNY Delhi.

SUNY Delhi offers a Bachelor's of Technology in Architectural Design and Building. This is a design-intensive program that prepares students for employment in an architectural design and building firm or for transfer to a Master's of Architecture degree program to become a professional architect. The program features hands-on performance in studios and labs that support classroom theory, and offers a solid foundation of liberal arts, and sciences, with building systems technology, structural engineering, architectural history, and theory, and most critically, a multi-semester, studio design sequence. The college also offers an A.A.S. in Architectural Technology, which is designed to prepare students for direct employment in architecture and related fields or for transfer to a bachelor's degree program.
