Kevin Kiefer Places First at New York State Skills Contest

Kevin Kiefer of Greenville, NY placed first in Carpentry at the 2016 New York State Postsecondary (college level) SkillsUSA competition on April 6th at Alfred State's School of Applied Technology, Wellsville.

Kiefer will represent SUNY Delhi in the National SkillsUSA Championship at the National Leadership and Skills Conference in Louisville, KY in June. The Championship is the showcase for the best career and technical students in the nation. More than 12,500 students, teachers, education leaders, and representatives from more than 1,000 national corporations, trade associations, businesses and labor unions attend the event.
