Kevin Kiefer Places in Top Five at New York State Skills Contest

Kevin Kiefer of Hagman placed first in the carpentry category at the 14th annual New York State Postsecondary (college level) SkillsUSA competition March 29-30 at Alfred State's School of Applied Technology, Wellsville.

Kiefer will represent SUNY Delhi in the National SkillsUSA Championship at the National Leadership and Skills Conference in Kansas City in June. The Championship is the showcase for the best career and technical students in the nation. More than 12,500 students, teachers, education leaders, and representatives from more than 1,000 national corporations, trade associations, businesses and labor unions attend the event.
