Noah Tubbs Awarded Turf Scholarship

Noah Tubbs of Troy, NY was recently awarded a New York State Turfgrass Association (NYSTA) scholarship in the amount of $1000 at the annual NYSTA Turf Grounds Exposition November 13-15 in Rochester. Tubbs is pursuing a bachelor's degree as a golf course superintendent at the State University of New York at Delhi.
SUNY Delhi receives more than $15,000 in scholarships and over $100,000 in equipment and supplies for student use each year from the golf/turf industry. The college utilizes its own golf course for lab instruction, providing unique hands-on leaning opportunities for its students.
