SUNY Delhi and SUNY Corning Community College Partner to Expand Academic Pathways and Student Success

Delhi, NY (10/13/2026) — SUNY Delhi and SUNY Corning Community College (SUNY CCC) have signed a comprehensive Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), establishing a formal partnership designed to broaden educational opportunities, streamline degree completion pathways, and meet critical regional workforce demands.

The joint resolution creates a framework for both institutions to collaborate closely across academic planning, admissions, student advising, and financial support. By aligning coursework and expanding transfer pathways, the agreement will help traditional students, adult learners, and working professionals transfer credits seamlessly and earn credentials without unnecessary duplication of effort or expense.

Initial focus areas for program alignment and applied learning include high-demand technical fields such as mechatronics, construction technology, and construction management.

"This partnership represents a shared commitment to keeping students at the very center of everything we do," said Dr. Terence Finley, President of SUNY Corning Community College. "By bridging our strengths with SUNY Delhi, we are removing systemic barriers to higher education, simplifying the transfer process, and building clear, affordable pipelines into rewarding, high-demand careers across our region."

"One of the great strengths of the SUNY system is our ability to work together to create opportunities that extend beyond any one campus," said Dr. Mary Bonderoff, President of SUNY Delhi. "This partnership strengthens the pathways available to students across SUNY while bringing together the distinct strengths of our institutions. By connecting education more intentionally across the system, we can help students advance their goals while preparing the skilled workforce our communities and New York State need to grow and thrive."
