Delaware County Business Alliance's 2026 Ray Pucci Community Connector Award recognizes Dr. Bonderoff's leadership.
Delhi, NY (10/02/2026) — The Delaware County Business Alliance has recognized SUNY Delhi President Mary Bonderoff with the 2026 Ray Pucci Community Connector Award for her leadership in strengthening connections between the college and the greater Delaware County community.
The award honors an individual or organization that has demonstrated exceptional effectiveness in connecting people to economic opportunities in Delaware County. The Business Alliance cited Bonderoff's leadership in expanding workforce development pipelines, strengthening regional economic engagement, and creating opportunities for local entrepreneurs, organizations, and students.
"Under Dr. Bonderoff's leadership, SUNY Delhi has strengthened its role as a true partner in Delaware County," said Todd Pascarella, president of the Delaware County Business Alliance. "She understands that the success of the college and the success of our communities go hand in hand. Through her commitment to workforce development, regional partnerships, and creating opportunities for students, businesses, and organizations, Mary has proven herself to be a true bridge-builder and community connector."
The award was renamed in 2025 in honor of retiring Chamber and Business Alliance President Ray Pucci and his decades of work building relationships and fostering collaboration throughout Delaware County.
"I'm truly honored to receive this recognition and to be among this year's outstanding honorees," Bonderoff said. "SUNY Delhi is part of this community, and our success is closely connected to the success of the people, businesses, and organizations around us. I congratulate all of this year's award recipients. I'm proud of the partnerships we've built and the opportunities we continue to create together for our students and for Delaware County."
Bonderoff received the award on October 2 at the 2026 Delaware County Business Alliance Awards Dinner at SUNY Delhi's Farrell Student and Community Center. Other honorees include Delhi Telephone Company, named Business of the Year, and Rising Stars Pony's, EIGHTYMain, Inn at Octagon Acres, and Catskills Digital.
