Advisory: SUNY Delhi Fall Forum, ASAP|ACE Press Event, and Hot Food Team Celebration

Delhi to highlight partnerships, introduce a new student success initiative, and celebrate hot food student team

Delhi, NY (09/19/2025) — SUNY Delhi will host special events on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, to highlight its partnerships and collaboration, introduce a new student success initiative, and celebrate the national championship of the culinary hot food team. Members of the press are warmly invited.

A semiannual event that brings local, state, and federal leaders together for meaningful dialogue with SUNY Delhi's administration, faculty, and students. SUNY Delhi will share updates on key initiatives, including academic advancements, workforce development programs, capital improvements, and strategic partnerships that are helping shape the future of our region. Guests include Chris Tague (NYS Assembly, 102nd District), Glenn Nealis (Delaware County Economic Development), Evan Maslin and Eric Ball (Rep. Josh Riley's Office), Amanda Spellicy (Senator Chuck Schumer's Office), and Kevin Zhang (Senator Kristen Gillibrand's Office).

SUNY Delhi will highlight its participation in Advancing Success in Associate Pathways (ASAP) and Advancing Completion through Engagement (ACE), transformative SUNY programs aimed at removing barriers to degree completion and increasing student success through financial assistance, personalized academic advising, career development, and community-building activities. Launched in 2024 with support from Governor Kathy Hochul and the New York State Legislature, the program is part of SUNY Chancellor John B. King Jr. and the SUNY Board of Trustees' vision of advancing student success and upward mobility within the SUNY system. Learn more about ASAP|ACE at SUNY Delhi.

SUNY Delhi Hot Food Team Celebration
Farrell Hall Loft

SUNY Delhi will celebrate and honor the SUNY Delhi hot food culinary team that was crowned the 2025 National Champion at the American Culinary Federation (ACF) Student Team of the Year competition in Las Vegas in July. Team members, coaches, and local farm partners will be present. Refreshments will be served.

Please visit the University Police in North Hall (Building #16 on the map) to obtain a parking pass. Parking spaces are available in the Bush Lot, Lower Lot, Track Lot, and behind Farrell Hall.
