The following students competed in the 40th Annual National Collegiate Landscape Competition (NCLC) hosted by Mississippi State University and sponsored by the National Association of Landscape Professionals this month.

Students placed first at the 2016 New York State Postsecondary (college level) SkillsUSA competition April 6 at Alfred State's School of Applied Technology, Wellsville.

Culinary Arts major Mark Garcia of the Bronx won the 2015 Ment'or Young Chef Competition on September 17 in Chicago. He defeated three other young chefs to win the coveted title.

SUNY Delhi culinary arts major Kathryn Eurich of Warwick, N.Y., has won the 2015 American Culinary Arts Federation (ACF) national "Student Chef of the Year" title at the ACF National Convention in Orlando, Fla., July 30–August 3. This prestigious title recognizes the best up-and-coming culinary student in the nation.
