Local Students Receive Presidential Scholarships from SUNY Delhi
Delhi, NY (04/19/2024) — SUNY Delhi has awarded presidential scholarships to ten high-achieving local students. The presidential scholarship, one of the college's most prestigious scholarships, is for accepted students graduating from a local high school with a 93 or higher high school GPA and live within 50 miles of SUNY Delhi.

Eve Foster - Walton High School
Madalynn Gaias - Bainbridge-Guilford High School
Grady Glennon - Hunter-Tannersville High School
Sarah Gorr - Roscoe High School
Alexis Hilton - Franklin High School
Katie Nichols - Margaretville High School
Olivia Streeter - Maryland, NY
Lucas Van Dyke - Franklin High School
Trevor Waid - Charlotte Valley High School
"We are proud to recognize some of the most gifted graduates from local high schools with this scholarship," said Dr. Mary Bonderoff, acting president at SUNY Delhi. "We are delighted that these outstanding young scholars are considering SUNY Delhi to pursue their academic and career goals. The scholarship is designed to reward their accomplishments and ease some of the financial burden of college, allowing the recipients to focus on developing as leaders among their peers. The presidential scholarship provides up to $7,000 per academic year towards non-tuition expenses for up to eight consecutive semesters, depending on the student's academic program. To maintain eligibility, recipients must enroll at SUNY Delhi consecutively and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher at the end of each academic year.
